The Creation and the Sabbath

God created the heavens and the earth in six days and rested from all His work on the seventh day. And He blessed the seventh day and make it holy.

Genesis 2:3 / God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done.

God commanded His people to "remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy" (Exodus 20:8) - which is the Fourth Commandment the Sabbath is a day of special blessing and a memorial of the Mighty Creator.


The Seventh Day is Saturday

What day of the week is the seventh-day Sabbath?

1>Calendar/ Sunday is the first day of the week;
                 Saturday is the seventh and last day
                of the week.

2>Dictionary/ Sunday - the first day of the week
             Saturday - the seventh day of the week.
            
3>Bible/ The Bible testifies that the seventh-day
               Sabbath is Saturday.

Mark 16:9 / When Jesus rose early on the firsy day
                 of the week.


Jesus resurrected "on the firsy day of the week." The first day of the week is Sunday. That's why all Christians celebrate Ester on Sunday.

In Today's English Version, the first day of the week is described as Sunday.

As above, Jesus resurrected on Sunday, the first day of the week. Therefore, the seventh-day Sabbath is Saturday, not Sunday.

Veil - World Mission Society Church of God

2,000 year ago, God the Creator came to this earth in the name of Jesus, and established the new covenant.

Through the new covenant, God's children, who are suffering from sin and death, can have the forgiveness of sin and eternal life.

For three years, 
Jesus set an example of keeping the new covenant for his disciples.

"I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you." (John 13:15)

After the resurrection, Jesus asked his disciples to teach all people to keep the new covenant so that they could be saved. (Matthew 28:19)

Following the words of Jesus, his disciples preached the new covenant.

In the new covenant, through which we can have the forgiveness of sins, there is a regulation for worship.

If a man covers his head during worship, it is a dishonor to God; if a woman does not cover her head, it is a dishonor to her head. (1 Corinthians 11:4)

At the World Mission Society Church of God that follows the new covenant, a woman covers her head with a veil during worship, and a man does not.

However, after Jesus' Ascension, some women insisted they did not have to wear veils.

Because of this, Apostle Paul urged them to wear veils, explaining that long hair looks beautiful for a woman by human nature.

"Judge for yourselves: Is it proper for a woman to pray to God with her head uncovered?  Does not the very nature of things teach you" "that if a man has long hair, it is a disgrace to him, but that if a woman has long hair, it is her glory? For long hair is given to her as a covering." "If anyone wants to be contentious about this, we have no other practice-nor do the churches of God." (1 Corinthians 11:13~16)

The Bible clearly states that the a woman should cover her head with a veil during worship. The practice of wearing a veil for a woman during worship is one of regulations of the new covenant that Jesus taught and Apostle Paul preached.

Secret of the Fig Tree - Christ ahnsahnghong

Matthew 24:3 / What will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?

Matthew 24:32~33 / "Now learn this lesson from the fig tree" "As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near" "Even so, when you see all these things" "You know that it [He] is near, right at the door"

The parable of the fig tree let us know the time of Jesus' second coming. What is the fig tree likened to? 

Luke 13:7 / Then he told this parable..For three year now I've been coming to look for fruit on this fig tree and haven't found any. Cut it down!

The fig tree refers to Israel where Jesus looked for fruit for three years.

Through the parable of the fig tree, He lets us know the destruction of Israel and its indepedence and the time of Jesus' second coming.

Luke 21:20 / when you see Jerusalem being surrounded by armies.You will know that its desolation is near.

According to the prophecy, "Cut down the fig tree, Israel was destroyed by Rome in A.D. 70.

Luke 21:24 / They.. will be taken as prisoners to all the nations..

Since then, Israel has wandered throughout the world for about 1,900 years. And according to the prophecy that the fig tree would revive, Israel regained her independence.

May 14, 1948 Ben Gurion the Prime Minister proclaimed the independence of Israel.

The independence of Israel was a flare that proclaimed Christ's coming to the earth again.

How to Overcome Death- Christ Ahnsahnghong

It is death that man fears most. The Bible says,
"...those who all their lives were held in salvery by their fear of death" (Hebrew 2:15).

What is the way to be freed from death?

People say, "Where there's a will, there's a way." If sin and death originated in the Garden of Eden, the way to live is found in Eden as well.


Genesis 2:9  / 
".. In the middle of the garden were the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil."

Genesis 2:16~17 / 
"And the Lord God commanded the man, 'You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat of it you will surely die."

In the Garden of Eden, Adam and Eve could eat from any tree except the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. After they sinned against God, however, they were forbidden from eating from the tree of life. The reason Adam and Eve came to die was because they could not eat from the "tree of life."

Genesis 3:22 / 

"And the Lord God said, '... He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever.' So the Lord God banished him from the Garden of Eden to work the ground from which he had been taken.

Though Adam and Eve ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and became mortal, if they had been able to eat from the tree of life, they would have lived forever.

Then, How can we eat from the tree of life and live forever?

That's the bread and wine of passover. And he who established the passover to us is christ Ahnsahnghong. Christ Ahnsahnghong is our God, giving eternal life to us.
Christ Ahnsahnghong to allow us the passover came again.

The Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil - World Mission Society Church of God

Most people, whether of not they are Christians, know about the tree of the knowledge of good and evil in the Garden of Eden. At that time, God commanded Adam and Eve not to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, saing, "When you eat of it, you will surely die" (Genesis 2:16).

However, they were tempted by the serpent and ate from the tree, so that they were driven out of the Garden of Eden. Most people generally know this.

This raised a question: 'Did God, who made all things and created Adam and Eve, not know that they would eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil? If He had already known, He must have intended for them to die.' In regard to this, some give the following explanation: God gave them free will and it was their choice whether or not to eat the forbidden fruit. Is their answer based on the Bible?

God said, "I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come. I say: My purpose will stand, and I will do all that I please (Isaiah 46:10). Then, can we say that God the Almighty, who had made known the end from the beginning, did not know that Adam, and Eve would eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil?

If God already knew that they would eat from the forbidden tree, why did He command them "not to eat of it"?

Wages of sin is death - God the mother's love

Why Do All Men Die?

All men born into this world can never escape death. Then why do all men die? The Bible says that death came to all because of sin.

Romans 6:23 /   For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

As for sin, most biblicists explain as follows:
"It is the sin of Adam, the progenitor of the
human race. The sin that Adam had committed passed on to all his descendants, that all came
to die" (Romans 5:12).  However,
this explanation causes a great contradiction.

It is a serious matter that myriads of people must die through one man. If you have to die because of someone else's sin, not of yours, can you acknowledge the one who executes the law and submit to his judgement?


God is just. Some people, however, regard Him as unjust. It's because they do not understand the administraction of redemption God established before the creation of the world.

Ephesians 1:4~9/ "Even before the world was made, God had already chosen us.. God did what he had purposed, and made known to us the secret plan [administration] he had already decided to complete by means of Christ."

If it is not Adam's sin that causes all men to die, whose sin is it then?

So we should know what is wages of sin? who give us forgiveness of sin and life?

The Bible say "The Spirit and the bride say,.. come.. let him take the free gift of the water of life.[Revelation 22:17]

If you study through the Bible, you will be know that the bride is God the mother.

Now, God the mother calls us to give a life. Then, come to God the mother who is bride, giving the water of life.

God the mother's heart - mom, this is so good

"Mom this so Good. Everything that you cook is so good."

Actually there wasn't much on the table. I just made some warm biscuits to go along with my beef stew. But my three children who were soaking the biscuits in the stew, just kept on saying that it was so good.

Since there were three of them, I guess they weren't picky with foods. I was thankful, and with that virtue, people kept on saying, "What do these kids eat? They are so tall!" as they were indeed tall and healthy.

Seeing my children eating with delight, I started to think of God the mother.

How happy must God the mother be, seeing her children eating Heavenly food without being picky?

Though with efforts she prays all night thinking how to feed her children with nutritious and delicious food, making them to grow, overcoming the bad germs, without considering God the mother's heart, I was just a picky, immature child neglecting some foods because it didn't suit me, and only eating foods that suited me.

Realizing a new, with the saying that "Parents becomes full just by seeing their children eating." I thought that God the mother would be all the more...

Mother, I want to become your child who eats your food with delight.

Mother, the Source of the Water of Life - The World Mission Society Church of God

Water is absolutely essential for all living things. It is not too much to say that water is life....

Rev 22:17 / The spirit and the bride tell us to come to receive the water of life.

we should receive the water of life for our soul's life. Then who is The spirit and the bride?
As you know, the spirit is our heavenly father. and the bride is?...

Rev 21:9 / One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues came and said to me, "Come, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb..and showed me the Holy City, Jerusalem,.. (The wife of the Lamb is Jerusalem.)

What relation we have with Jerusalem?

Gal 4:26 / The Jerusalem that is above is our Mother.

Therefore, Jerusalem, giving the water of life is our heavenly mother. also..

Zec 14:8 / On that day living water will flow out from Jerusalem.

On that day is the spirit age, we live. so we should go to the heavenly mother, the source of the water of life.

Eze 47:1 / I saw water coming out from under the threshould of the temple.

Temple mean our heavenly mother who is Jerusalem themple.

Through Mother, we have life and become the children of God and go to heaven, our eternal home.
